About the Role
As a Drayage Operations Executive , you will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence while supporting both internal and external customers. Your responsibilities will include managing the tracking and tracing of client shipments, scheduling delivery and pickup appointments, and leading communication to ensure on-time arrivals and departures. At the core of this role is delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring the satisfaction of both carriers and customers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer and carrier follow-up to maintain strong relationships.
- Manage incoming calls and provide efficient, professional support.
- Track and trace shipments to monitor progress and ensure on-time delivery.
- Schedule, prioritize, and arrange pickups to align with client requirements.
- Manage and promptly fulfill customer and carrier requests.
- Provide real-time shipment updates and audit load information for accuracy.
- Schedule delivery and pickup appointments with precision and attention to detail.
- Maintain and track updates on transaction details in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Work Environment
This role requires in-office participation four (4) days per week at our Deerfield office. We believe in fostering collaboration and building a positive team environment, which comes from working together in person while maintaining flexibility for our team members.
