ISC’s team of Hospitality Recruiters is partnering with a leading supplier of tomatoes and fresh vegetables in North America, on a Head of Talent Management opportunity. This rapidly growing company is not only well known for cultivating produce/manufacturing products, but also a positive and supportive workplace for their employees. This HR professional can work out of one of their top 3 locations across the U.S.: Bonita Springs area of FL; Dallas, TX; or Denver, CO.


This Head of Talent Management position has been newly added to the HR team due to growth. In this exciting opportunity you will play a key role in shaping talent development strategy, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and supporting the professional growth of the workforce in a hands-on environment. The ideal Head of Talent Management will be passionate about designing and implementing impactful training programs that boost employee skills, performance, and overall job satisfaction while continually managing the company’s talent by strategically attracting, developing, retaining, and optimizing the performance of the entire team.


Head of Talent Management Requirements- To qualify, you should have the following:

  • 5+ years relevant HR experience, food industry or manufacturing experience, (a plus)
  • MBA accepted in lieu of years’ experience, coupled with driven and self-motivated skill set
  • Working knowledge of PowerPoint and LMS Software, (preferred)
  • 3+ years’ Talent Acquisition, Employee Development, Training Facilitation, Needs Assessment, Employee Retention, and Optimization experience
  • 3+ years Organizational Management/Cross-functional leadership
  • Certification for Testing Employees, (a plus)

Head of Talent Management Responsibilities- Duties for this role are:

  • Program Design and Delivery: Create and implement employee development programs, such as orientation, skills training, leadership development, and career progression initiatives
  • Needs Assessment: Regularly evaluate organizations training needs and skill gaps across all departments/levels and aid in Talent Acquisition
  • Curriculum Creation: Develop tailored training materials, workshops, and resources to address kill gaps and enhance employee growth
  • Training Facilitation: Lead training sessions, workshops, and seminars utilizing both internal resources and external experts when necessary
  • Performance Assessment: Develop metrics and evaluation tools to measure success/impact of employee development initiatives, and provide recommendations for ongoing improvements
  • LMS Management: Oversee implementation and administration of LMS, ensuring efficient content management/user support/reporting
  • Employee Engagement: Promote culture of ongoing learning by encouraging participation in training programs and offering continuous support
  • Organization Development: Lead initiatives that enhance overall organizational efficiencies, including change management, organization design, and succession planning
  • Budget Oversight: Manage employee development budget, ensuring resources are appropriately allocation to align with organizational goals
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Join forces with HR business partners, department heads, and other stakeholders to ensure programs align with broader organizational strategy
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Stay current with industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure all training programs remain compliance/relevant
  • Compensation and Benefits: Oversee development and management of competitive compensation and benefit programs that attract and retain top talent, while ensuring compliance with legal requirements
