Schedule: M- F 8:00 - 5:00 - expect to work 6x10s Mon-Sat
Must Haves:
- 2 years of experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, or installing equipment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to work overtime and travel to other sites on an as needed basis
Pluses:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience working with / troubleshooting robotic equipment
- Experience supporting semiconductor equipment
- Military experience in the following MOS’:
- Avionics Technician
- Load Master
- Electronics Technician
Day to Day:
Looking for a Field Service Engineer to join a leading equipment manufacturer within the semiconductor industry. This individual will be responsible for working onsite at one of their client sites and regularly travel (80-90%). This engineer will be apart of the tool install team responsible for taking equipment from freight to functioning. This includes laying out all of the components to ensure everything that is required arrived to the client. Following standard operating procedures to ensure that the components are put together correctly. This individual will thrive in a team environment as they’ll work alongside other tenured engineers in order to ensure the tool becomes operable within the time allotted. Additionally, the engineer is going to be responsible for troubleshooting any problems that might arise during this process and finding the right solution given the circumstances.
Additional responsibilities:
- Perform Installation of semiconductor processing equipment
- Maintaining records and reports as required
- Coordinates activities with peers, supervisors, and customers
- Order and install components
- Responds to emergency service calls as needed
- Instructs customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance
- Perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed
- Remain current on equipment/tools through appropriate training, manuals, factory periodicals, and other relevant materials
- Incumbents are responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and security of company property including vehicles, tools, etc.
- Employees must also maintain standards of conduct to maintain credentials for being on customer site
