As an HR Business Partner (HRBP) with a focus on recruitment and general HR functions, you will be responsible for leading talent acquisition processes and managing strategic HR initiatives to support the growth and sustainability of our PV business. You will work closely with leadership teams, managers and other key areas to ensure HR alignment with business objectives in the renewable energy sector.


This position is In Houston, Texas.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of selection processes: Lead the full recruitment cycle, from job profiling to onboarding new employees. Develop and execute strategies to attract candidates in key roles within the PV and renewable energy industry.
  • Collaboration with business leaders: Work closely with managers and team leaders to understand the specific talent needs of each area, supporting short and long-term human resources planning.
  • Developing talent attraction strategies
  • Identify and build relationships with talent sources, such as universities, educational institutions, professional associations and specialized renewable energy platforms.
  • New employee onboarding and follow-up. Ensure a positive experience for new employees from day one by managing their onboarding process. Provide follow-up to ensure their successful integration into the company.
  • In terms of organizational development, you will be expected to collaborate in the implementation of talent development, training and performance management programmes. These programs will be aligned with the company's strategic goals and will facilitate employee growth within the PV sector.
  • Organizational climate management involves participating in the measurement and improvement of the work climate through satisfaction surveys, exit interviews and other indicators. It also involves proposing initiatives to improve employee retention and engagement.
  • Offer assistance and ongoing support to the labor team in the management of compensation and benefits.
  • Provide support in the administration of salary and benefits policies, ensuring that they are competitive in the sector and aligned with market practices.
  • Contribute to the creation of incentive programmes that encourage performance and employee satisfaction.
  • The recruitment process is to be continuously improved. Key recruitment metrics are to be analyzed to identify opportunities for improving the selection process and ensuring recruitment efficiency. Best practices are to be implemented, and the technological tools used optimized.
  • Internal HR Consulting: Provide ongoing advice and support to leaders and employees on issues related to labour relations, career development, conflict management and any other HR related matters.


Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, human resources, business administration or a related field.
  • 5-7 years’ experience in recruitment and selection, preferably in sectors related to renewable energy and/or engineering.
  • Additional experience in general human resources areas, such as organizational development, work climate management, and compensation and benefits administration, is also required.
  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of talent acquisition best practices, with a focus on streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with the US PV and renewable energy job market.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with recruitment tools and digital recruitment platforms.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to interact effectively with candidates and business leaders at all levels.
  • The ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative, and constantly changing environment is essential for this position.
  • Fluency in English (both spoken and written). Other languages such as Spanish would be an asset.
