Certification Details BLS AART Job Details General job duties. Types of procedures required. Prepare exam area. Sterile technique. Assist MD with procedures. Passing supplies. Filming case. Transporting patients. Vascular procedures, Neuro vascular procedures, biopsies, drain, lines. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept: EPIC charting, Fluoro equipment, ultrasound. Assists physicians with arteriograms and or other specialized radiologic procedures under sterile technique in diagnosis and treatment of patients. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served. Job Requirements Prefer 2 years of either IR or Cath Lab experience. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required: BLS, AART. Schedule Information M-F varied shift between 0730/0830-1600/1800. Call requirement during the work week, weekends and holidays: 8-9 call shifts per 6 weeks. Unit Specific Information Surgical scrubs which are provided.
