*Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner*
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners are responsible for providing psychiatric assessment and treatment for all patients in accordance with the provider’s training, licensing and state regulation, at clinical sites where the clinician is assigned. The provider is expected to function as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team, treating patients with eating disorders and related or comorbid medical conditions. The provider will serve patients in a gender-inclusive environment of all ages and across all levels of care. Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners are encouraged to participate in quality and performance improvement activities.
*Compensation:*
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner: $120,230.00 - $191,950.00 annually (based on 1.0 FTE)
_Final compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for position._
*Schedule:*
* Full Time 0.8 FTE (32hrs per week), working 4 days per week Monday - Friday.
* Exact shift schedule and days will be set in collaboration with Regional Medical Director, Site Director, and based on site needs.
*How Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners Empower Recovery:*
* Provide direct psychiatric services through the comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients, including appropriate exam, work-up and the prescription of medications and other interventions as indicated.
* Evaluate, diagnose and treat psychiatric complications of eating disorders, as well as intercurrent conditions, for patients at all levels of care. Frequency of visits should be dictated by clinical need, and facilitate appropriate psychiatric care for the clinical severity and in accordance with direction from site psychiatric leadership
* Develop the psychiatric treatment plans of all assigned patients and update with each visit
* Liaise by telephone with each patient’s ambulatory provider, at a minimum, at admission, discharge, and as needed during treatment in the context of significant concerns.
* Liaise with families of patients as indicated
* Evaluate all patients on caseload within two weeks of discharge, to assess stability for next level of care, and to complete a summary of all follow-up recommendations and a comprehensive discharge summary.
* Provide education about psychiatric complications and comorbidities of eating disorders to family and patients as needed.
* Participate in program development with site psychiatric leadership as interest and assigned.
* Maintain license and supervision requirements in association with on-site collaborating physician.
* Participate in on-call schedule
* Perform other duties as assigned or identified
*Qualifications:*
* Duly certified and licensed Nurse Practitioner, by appropriate national certifying body and state licensing agency
* Appropriate State Licensure to practice independently in field, with prescriptive authority

* If the employee does not work the actual holiday:
* But is usually scheduled: Employee would submit HOL in UKG for normally scheduled hours.
* And is not usually scheduled either:
* Submit HOL in UKG for normally scheduled hours.
* OR choose another day to take off within the same month the holiday occurred and submit Holiday in UKG.
* Exempt (Salaried) Staff: Will recognize the holiday on the company observed holiday.
* If the employee works on the observed holiday: Employee must choose another day to take off within the same month the holiday occurred and submit Holiday in UKG.
* If the employee does not work on the observed holiday:
* But is usually scheduled: Employee will enter Holiday in UKG for normally scheduled hours.
* And is not usually scheduled: Choose another day to take off within the same month the holiday occurred and submit Holiday in UKG.
