SSTAR is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) which affords our employees eligibility to apply for one of our three Loan Repayment Programs, including the HRSA LRP.
The Psychiatrist serves as Medical Director of the MAT/OBO Program and Outpatient Mental Health Clinic. This is a part-time position with a total of 10 hours per week (8 hours per week required to be onsite).

Duties & Responsibilities
Serves as supervising physician for the PMHNPs and Addiction Medicine staff.
Provides clinical supervision to FNP’s and PMHNPs who will perform assessments in her absence.
Provides staff training as appropriate.
Works closely with Program Director to develop programs standards, hire and supervise staff.
Serves as program liaison with medical staff of SSTAR and other agencies.
Other duties as required.
Experience and Skills:
Education & Experience
Board Certified in Addiction Medicine.
Current DEA Certification.
Current Massachusetts Controlled Substance Certification.
Current Massachusetts license.
Board Certified in psychiatry.
At least five years’ professional experience in a similar setting.
