*Job Summary:* As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at MedAdventures, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic services and support to patients. Your role will be crucial in helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses, and in achieving their rehabilitation goals.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Assist the Physical Therapist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
* Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
* Monitor and document patients' progress and responses to treatment.
* Educate patients and their families about exercises, home programs, and injury prevention techniques.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
* Ensure a safe and clean therapy environment by adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
* Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.

*Qualifications:*
* Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
* A current Colorado license or in the process of obtaining, or willing to obtain, the state-specific license.
* At least two years of recent experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in an outpatient setting is required.
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and/or specialty certifications.
* Two current clinical references.
* Up-to-date physical examination, TB records, Tdap/Flu vaccinations.
* Titers for MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella or vaccination records.
* Must be able to pass a background check and urine drug screening upon accepting an offer.
* Current resume.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $32.31 - $34.11 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
