Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and portion sizes
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with meal planning and menu development
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

Qualifications:

-*Minimum of one year experience in food preparation* *for a health care facility or other large establishment; experience in preparing large quantities of food.*
- Previous experience in food preparation or culinary arts is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to use knives and other kitchen equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well in a team setting and communicate effectively with others
- *Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed*
