Location: Mount Joy, PA and surrounding counties in Central PA
Pay: $28.05 per hour clinical rate
($30.60 with Registered Behavior Technician credential)
Shift Differential: PM and Weekend shift differentials available
Bonus: $500 Sign-On Bonus
Schedules: Part-Time and Full-Time opportunities available. Evening and weekend availability required. Cases available between 7:00am and 10:00pm daily.

Our Enhanced Program serves clients in Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster and Lebanon counties with more challenging behaviors needing daily support between 7:00am and 10:00pm.
Behavior Interventions, Inc. (BII) was founded in 2006 by two Board Certified Behavior Analysts with a focus to provide quality ABA services to individuals 18 months through 21 years. BII specializes in the treatment of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, communication and developmental delays, and challenging behaviors.

Responsibilities of our Behavior Technicians (BT) include, but are not limited to:
Provides behavioral intervention based on the science of behavior analysis to support skill development and/or reduction of problematic behaviors
Establishes and maintains therapeutic relationship with client, caregiver and other family members through rapport building
Collects accurate data per program specifications
Maintains administrative and non-clinical functions to ensure continued success of families served, treatment team, employee and organization as a whole
Attends assigned trainings, monthly supervision meetings, performance meetings and other administrative meetings as assigned
Operates as a mandated reporter; maintaining awareness of signs or reports of suspected abuse or neglect and reporting to the appropriate state reporting line
Behavior Technician Requirements:
High school diploma
Bachelors degree (e.g. education, counseling, psychology, sociology, behavioral health) and related work experience preferred and may be required for certain cases
Satisfactory results of required Federal, State and provider specific background checks
Valid CPR and First Aid certification
Reliable transportation is required
(EP) Obtains crisis intervention certification within 30 days of employment and maintains annual certification requirements. Training is scheduled through Behavior Interventions and compensated at the employees administrative rate of pay.
Working Conditions:
Ability to move, ascend/descend, position self, transport while exerting 5-10 lbs constantly, 25 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
Ability to move quickly to remain within arms reach of client(s)
Ability to meet the physical requirements to successfully complete the physical components of the crisis intervention certification and implementation of interventions during the workday:
Ability to balance physical movement
Ability to support the weight of an individual while moving (kneeling) to the ground and a capacity to sit and kneel in various positions
Ability to move from a kneeling position to standing without assistance approximately 5 times in one minute
Ability to travel within the counties of clients served within the program; reliable transportation
