Job Title: Certified Surgical First Assistant

Job Type: Contract

Job Duties:
* Assist surgeons in performing cardiovascular surgeries by providing direct surgical assistance.
* Ensure that the patient is properly positioned and draped for the surgery.
* Maintain a sterile field throughout the procedure.
* Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other team members to provide optimal care.
* Assist in the closing of the surgical site, ensuring proper suturing and wound care.
* Maintain CSFA certification by staying updated on best practices and advancements in cardiovascular surgery.
* Handle surgical instruments, assist with suturing, and provide exposure to the surgical area as needed.
* Verify patient identity, surgical site, and procedure in accordance with established protocols.
* Ensure that all instruments and supplies are sterile and ready for use.
* Assist in the preparation and setup of the operating room, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.

Job Requirements:
* BLS from AHA
* NBSTSA, NCCT, or ABSA
* 1+ years of experience as a CVOR CSFA
* Must have circulating open heart cases experience
* Must have harvesting veins experience

Schedule:
* Morning Shift
* Tuesday - Friday
* 06:30 AM to 05:00 PM
* 4x10
* 40 hours Per Week
