*Job Summary*

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, you will play a crucial role in providing immediate care to patients in critical conditions. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your medical expertise to assess, treat, and stabilize patients in emergency situations.

*Duties*
* Conduct patient assessments and triage to determine the urgency of care needed
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
* Perform IV insertions and other medical procedures as required
* Monitor and record patient vital signs and symptoms
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
* Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records following HIPAA guidelines

*Qualifications*
* Valid RN license with experience in emergency room or critical care settings
* Proficiency in electronic health records systems such as Athenahealth
* Knowledge of ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation
* Experience in specialized areas like Ophthalmology, PICU, or Inpatient care is advantageous
* Strong skills in patient assessment, infant care, and emergency response protocols
