*Job Summary:*
Liberty Tire Recycling is looking for a Truck Driver Class A driver. As a Class A Driver, you will be transporting to landfills, customer sites, and other duties as assigned at our Orlando, FL. facility.
*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Perform routine inspections on assigned equipment and report defects to dispatch through the completion of DVIR's; maintain clean, safe equipment.
* Upholding a high standard of customer service.
* Ensuring the load is correctly placed and secure.
* Understand safe lifting techniques to load tires of all sizes (passenger vehicle, and truck tires).
* Lace passenger tires in a safe manner to reduce injury and optimize load.
* Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. on a routine basis and 75+ lbs. with assistance.
* Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
* Maintain documents per DOT guidelines, ELD compliant.
* Attend monthly Transportation Safety Meetings.
* Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. on a routine basis and 75+ lbs. with assistance.
*Skills and Abilities:*
* CDL Class A License required
* 22 years of age with clean driving record
* Must have and maintain acceptable MVR in compliance with DOT
* Must pass post-offer background, DOT physical and drug test
* Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience or equivalent military experience
* Doubles and Triples (Preferred)
*Education and Experience:*
* Prior experience in the tire recycling or manufacturing industry is a plus.
*Compensation:*
* $1100.00 – 1600.00 weekly, paid bi-weekly.
