*Your Important Role as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN):*
* Provide emergency care to ill or injured students.
* Verify health and immunization status of students, ensuring compliance with state laws and district policies.
* Assist with screening clinics and immunize students in district immunization clinics.
* Maintain and coordinate health information for individual education programs (IEPs).
* Engage with students, parents, and staff on student health matters, keeping accurate health office records and supplies.

*Qualifications for this School-Based LVN Position Include:*
* Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing program
* Prior school nursing experience is preferred but not required
* Licensed Vocational Nurse California State Licensure
* BLS certification
* Flexibility for occasional on-call needs is highly desirable
