Position Overview:

We are immediately hiring a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Specialist to join our fast-paced, growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining accurate employee records. Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain accurate and timely records of employee data.
Prepare and process weekly payroll, including calculating wages, and deductions.
Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws, employment laws, and other relevant regulations.
Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay and benefits.
Process court ordered wage garnishments, including child support, student loans, wage assignments, bankruptcy orders, and state and federal tax levies.
Collaborate with the CFO to ensure seamless payroll operations.
Perform other duties as required to support the payroll function.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in payroll processing or a related role.
Experience with payroll software, ADP Workforce Now preferred.
Experience with processing wage garnishments.
Strong knowledge and understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
