*Sr. Data Scientist*

*Cleveland, OH (hybrid)*

*6-Month Contract to Hire*

Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist to join our team in Cleveland, OH. As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in our simulation projects, partnering closely with our statistical engineering group to streamline operations and optimize processes across various stages, from grind to filling lines.

*Responsibilities and Duties:*

· Collaborate with the statistical engineering group to develop and enhance simulation models for various stages of production, including grind tanks, raw materials processing, and filling lines.

· Evaluate and identify bottlenecks, product needs, and opportunities for process optimization using simulation techniques.

· Translate real-world scenarios and "what-if" analyses into actionable insights and recommendations.

· Work closely with engineers in the field to understand project requirements and success criteria.

· Develop and implement simulation applications to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

· Continuously monitor and analyze simulation results, providing recommendations for process improvements.

· Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.



*Required Skills and Qualifications:*

· Proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling.

· Strong foundation in basic statistics.

· Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and concepts.

· Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

· Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

· Experience in software development, particularly in the context of simulation applications.

· Familiarity with simulation software and techniques.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Day shift
* Monday to Friday



Experience:
* Python: 4 years (Preferred)
* SQL: 4 years (Preferred)
