Job Summary :

Seeking a self-motivated Staff Accountant with a strong foundation in accounting who is looking for an opportunity to grow. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, General Ledger, and month-end closing, as well as benefits administration and government reporting. This role is ideal for someone looking for broader responsibilities and is excited about learning new skills.

Responsibilities :

• Core Accounting Duties :
• Perform A/P, A/R, and Payroll processes
• Perform G/L reconciliations and month-end close activities
• Maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Benefits Administration :
• Handle annual insurance renewals
• Personnel Matters :
• Oversee onboarding, policy administration, employee reviews, and disciplinary actions
• Workers Comp/OSHA/Safety Administration :
• Manage worker's compensation and OSHA compliance
• Reporting :
• Prepare monthly financial, inventory, sales and headcount reports
• Manage books, financial reporting and rent tracking for real estate entities
• Manage books and financial reporting for a fast-food establishment
• Government Reporting :
• Manage various filings for multiple entities

We are willing to train the right candidate on a variety of tasks, however, the most important qualities are the candidate’s outlook, problem-solving abilities and enthusiasm for taking on new challenges.

Qualifications :

• Strong attention to details and organizational skills
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting along with 5 – 10 years work experience.

Compensation :

• Starting pay range: $55,000 - $65,000, depending on experience
