An Am Law firm is seeking a Patent Prosecution Paralegal t o join their team in Chicago, IL.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in both foreign and USPTO matters.

Annual salary around $115,000.

Responsibilities:

• Managing client portfolios.
• Creating, revising, and filing of all prosecution documents.
• Correspond with foreign associates regarding all aspects of foreign prosecution.
• Review and maintain a docket of associated deadlines of assigned clients.
• Consistently achieve 1500 billable hour requirement. Knowledge of IP litigation rules and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4+ years of international, PCT, and US prosecution required.
• Law firm experience.
• Thorough knowledge of patent procedural requirements of USPTO practices required.
• Excellent Communication & Time Management Skills.
• Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
