Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to provide locum tenens coverage across three locations in Indiana. This role offers flexible scheduling with shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours, covering a variety of cases in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have a minimum of 200 cases in the last 12 months and be board-certified or board-eligible.
Position Details:
- Shifts: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts available
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Minimum of 3 shifts per week
- Preference for candidates available for Mondays and Fridays
Job Requirements:
- Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Licensure: Indiana RN license (or IMLC compact license)
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year with at least 200 cases in the last 12 months
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS required
- Preferred Experience: Experience across GI, Ortho, Neuro, General, Trauma, Urology, Respiratory, and more
Job Responsibilities:
- Care Model: Supervisory model with a supervising anesthesiologist overseeing up to 5 CRNAs
- Typical Cases: Laparoscopic surgeries, robotic procedures, orthopedic trauma, vascular surgeries, neurosurgeries, and more
- Support Staff: Supported by OR nursing, Operating Room Techs, and Patient Care Techs
- Technology: Medication management with Omnicell, Pyxis; EMR system is Epic
Additional Information:
- No OB or Open Heart procedures
- No on-call requirements
- Credentialing timeframe: 6-8 weeks
