Job Description

Quality Control (QC) Lab Support

Location: Garden Grove, CA

We are hiring for an entry-level Quality Control Lab Support role with a focus on supporting laboratory analysis and maintaining a high standard of lab operations. This position offers hands-on experience with analytical equipment and foundational principles, including titration, microscopy, urine analyzers, and more.

About the Role:

As a QC Lab Support professional, you will be instrumental in maintaining laboratory efficiency by performing analysis support functions, data entry and review, and inspecting incoming goods. Reporting directly to the Quality Control Supervisor, you'll gain valuable experience in a regulated environment with opportunities to enhance your skills and contribute to a motivated, organized team. This opportunity is offered on an initial 6 month contracting basis, and as a w2 contract worker you are eligible to a benefits package including health/dental/vision/life insurance, a 401k vehicle and more.

Hourly rate: $30-35/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Perform data entry, data review, and maintain proper documentation practices.
  • Conduct kit inspections, archive retain samples, and label products for disposition.
  • Stock lab supplies, prepare buffers, and maintain cleanliness to uphold 5S standards.
  • Assist with equipment maintenance and ensure instruments are functional and available.
  • Communicate effectively with QC leadership, internal suppliers, and maintenance staff.
  • Execute objectives to support team goals and recommend resources for QC success.
  • Follow safety guidelines and demonstrate proper use of PPE.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the QC Supervisor.


Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma required; BS degree preferred.
  • Experience: 1+ years of QC experience and knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDPs) in a regulated environment preferred.
  • Skills: Strong time management, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills; excellent verbal and written communication; understanding of laboratory and chemical safety practices.
