We’re currently seeking a Director of Housekeeping to lead our Housekeeping team, a natural people person with an analytical mind, who can do everything from streamline a bumpy process to stock a supply cart.

About you...
5 or more years luxury hotel experience.
A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus.
An expert in housekeeping operations, a strong leader and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance.
Excels at communication, both verbal and written.
Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement a strategic plan for Housekeeping aligned with property and brand goals.
Set performance goals for the department, holding managers accountable and delegating effectively to optimize team performance.
Financial Management
- Create and oversee the department’s budget, monitoring financial performance and addressing variances.
- Participate in the preparation of the budget and ensure a comprehensive understanding of monthly housekeeping expenses.
- Provide explanations during weekly labor meetings regarding departmental financial performance.
- Manage purchasing, invoicing, and payroll functions.
Quality Assurance
- Establish, uphold, and monitor compliance with brand and service standards across all Housekeeping activities.
- Inspect guestrooms and public areas daily to ensure cleanliness and maintenance align with brand and guest expectations.
Operational Excellence
- Collaborate with Front Desk operations to ensure seamless communication about room readiness and guest needs.
- Manage scheduling, workflow assignments, and real-time resource adjustments based on business needs.
- Lead and supervise a robust inspection program for guestrooms and public areas to maintain consistent quality.
- Monitor inventory and ensure team members are equipped with adequate supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
Team Development
- Support the recruitment, training, and professional development of Housekeeping team members.
- Recognize and reward exceptional performance through formal recognition programs and informal acknowledgments.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and employee engagement, ensuring open communication and adherence to fair policies.
Guest Satisfaction
- Address guest complaints promptly and implement corrective action plans to improve service.
- Build long-lasting relationships with guests, enhancing loyalty and repeat business.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, introducing innovative solutions to elevate guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
