VP Engineering / Vice President of Engineering / Senior Director of Engineering wanted by the hottest Series A Robotics StartUp in Texas this year.

The VP Engineering / Vice President of Engineering / Senior Director of Engineering will have the opportunity to continue to develop the already quality team of Engineers, as well as hire and recruit further.

As well as developing the team, the VP Engineering / Vice President of Engineering / Senior Director of Engineering will also:

• Oversee preparation and final approval of project plans
• Ensure that projects are completed within scope and budget with company and/or customer requirements
• Establish and implements strategic direction of the engineering and product development initiatives
• Collaborate with CTO, CEO, and COO to develop and meet organizational goals
• Supply engineering expertise and guidance on projects, systems, and operations
• Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in drone and small robotics engineering

What we want to see in the profile of a VP Engineering / Vice President of Engineering / Senior Director of Engineering:

• 10+ years in the Engineering environment with at least 8 years leading engineering teams
• Recent experience in the drone or small robotics industry
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or other similar engineering specialty
• U.S. Citizenship
