My client is all about safety and the Lead Electrical Engineer / Head of Electrical Engineering will have an opportunity to help shape the future of the business.

The Lead Electrical Engineer / Head of Electrical Engineering will:

• Own the PCB process from end to end: requirements, design, prototype, fabrication, manufacturing
• create and refine the technology inside the sUAS designs.
• provide expertise across a range of products to meet requirements and production needs.
• be hands on conducting research, prototyping, testing, and validation to ensure quality products that maintain a competitive price.
• support and lead rapid product development cycles (3-6 months) with 6-week sprints.
• test and debug electromechanical equipment.
• provide innovative and cost effective solutioning.
• collaborate across multi-functional teams.

What the Lead Electrical Engineer / Head of Electrical Engineering will bring:

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in electrical commercial hardware engineering and/or sustaining engineering
• Understand complexity and demonstrate excellent skills with blind and buried vias and high-density PCBs and/or high-density interconnect (HDI) PCBs
• Experience with manufacturing of medium-to-high quantities
• Experience with test equipment - multimeter, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.

What will make you stand out:

• M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or equivalent (highly preferred)
• Prior experience with gimbal systems, UAVs/Aerospace, or robotics (highly preferred)
• Consumer electronics such as IoT camera security systems of cell phones with CCMs
• U.S. Military Veteran
