My client is all about safety and the Lead Electrical Engineer / Head of Electrical Engineering will have an opportunity to help shape the future of the business.
The Lead Electrical Engineer / Head of Electrical Engineering will:
- Own the PCB process from end to end: requirements, design, prototype, fabrication, manufacturing
- create and refine the technology inside the sUAS designs.
- provide expertise across a range of products to meet requirements and production needs.
- be hands on conducting research, prototyping, testing, and validation to ensure quality products that maintain a competitive price.
- support and lead rapid product development cycles (3-6 months) with 6-week sprints.
- test and debug electromechanical equipment.
- provide innovative and cost effective solutioning.
- collaborate across multi-functional teams.
What the Lead Electrical Engineer / Head of Electrical Engineering will bring:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in electrical commercial hardware engineering and/or sustaining engineering
- Understand complexity and demonstrate excellent skills with blind and buried vias and high-density PCBs and/or high-density interconnect (HDI) PCBs
- Experience with manufacturing of medium-to-high quantities
- Experience with test equipment - multimeter, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.
What will make you stand out:
- M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or equivalent (highly preferred)
- Prior experience with gimbal systems, UAVs/Aerospace, or robotics (highly preferred)
- Consumer electronics such as IoT camera security systems of cell phones with CCMs
- U.S. Military Veteran
