Enterprise Data Architect - MDM Experience

We are looking for a seasoned and highly skilled Enterprise Data Architect to join our innovative team. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise data architectures that align with organizational objectives and industry best practices. Your expertise will ensure the seamless integration of data solutions across systems, enabling impactful business decisions. This role requires the ability to work in a hybrid capacity , with regular in-office presence at our New York City (NYC) office.

Responsibilities:

• Architectural Design : Develop scalable and efficient data architectures to support enterprise applications, analytics, and reporting.
• Master Data Management : Lead MDM initiatives to ensure consistency, accuracy, and integrity of data across the organization, with a strong focus on Semarchy solutions.
• Requirements Gathering : Collaborate with stakeholders to capture business needs and translate them into robust data solutions.
• Database Management : Implement best practices for database design, data modeling, and optimization.
• ETL and Data Integration : Design and oversee ETL processes for effective data integration and transformation.
• Data Warehousing : Build and maintain data warehouses to enable comprehensive reporting and analytics.
• Cloud Solutions : Utilize Azure Cloud Computing , including services like Azure SQL and Databricks (Spark) , for data storage, processing, and advanced analytics.
• Programming : Develop and manage data solutions using Python and SQL .
• Data Visualization : Utilize tools like Microsoft Power BI to deliver impactful data insights and dashboards.
• Documentation : Create and maintain detailed documentation, including architecture diagrams, standards, and models.
• Data Governance : Ensure data security, integrity, and availability across the organization.
• Innovation : Stay abreast of industry trends in data architecture and recommend enhancements to existing systems.

Requirements:

• Experience : Proven track record as a Data Architect or a similar role in enterprise settings.
• Primary Skills : Expertise in Azure Cloud Computing , Databricks (Spark) , Azure SQL , Python , and SQL is essential .
• Master Data Management : Strong experience with MDM tools and frameworks, with a preference for hands-on expertise in Semarchy .
• Database Design : Strong understanding of database architecture principles and best practices.
• ETL Processes : Experience with tools and methodologies for efficient data integration.
• Data Warehousing : Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and implementation strategies.
• Linked Data : Familiarity with Linked Data principles is a plus.
• Analytical Skills : Strong problem-solving abilities to address complex data architecture challenges.
• Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with both technical teams and business stakeholders effectively.

Preferred Experience:

• CRM : Knowledge of Salesforce for customer relationship management.
• Fund Accounting : Experience with Investran for fund accounting and portfolio management.
• HCM : Familiarity with Workday for human capital management.
• Private Equity Data : Experience using FIS iLEVEL for private equity data aggregation and reporting.
• Data Visualization : Expertise in building dashboards and visualizations with Microsoft Power BI .

Work Arrangement:

• This position requires the ability to work in a hybrid capacity , with regular in-office presence at our Stamford, CT or New York City (NYC) office.
