Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee a variety of customer orders from receipt to completion. This role involves managing project timelines, drafting change orders, coordinating with suppliers, and traveling to on-site installations. The ideal candidate will have experience in capital equipment projects and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects from purchase order to customer sign-off.
- Manage and maintain project timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
- Develop and process change orders, including cost and timeline adjustments.
- Request and secure updated pricing for outside bids to support customer orders and the quoting process.
- Build and manage relationships with suppliers and contractors.
- Act as the on-site representative during system installations and start-ups.
- Participate in project issue resolution meetings, ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to lessons learned.
- Provide regular updates to internal departments to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Track project performance, budgets, and financial constraints to meet both short- and long-term goals.
- Assist in the development of best practices, policies, and procedures for project management.
- Promote adherence to ISO standards and company policies.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience managing capital equipment projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) is required.
- Experience with Microsoft Project is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- PMP certification is a strong plus.
- Working knowledge of CAD (Autodesk products) is preferred.
- Familiarity with vibratory equipment and industries like foundry, mining, or recycling is a plus.
- Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to foster collaboration and build relationships across teams.
- Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and objectivity in all interactions.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary Range: $80,000–$125,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications).
