One of our clients in the financial services industry is looking for an experienced System Administrator to join their team on a full time basis.

This is an ONSITE position based in Suffolk County, NY. Base salary target is in the $125-$150K range + bonus.

You'll be working in small, hands on team responsible for maintaining the firm's IT infrastructure and providing high level support to desktop teams as needed.

What you'll do:

Configure, install, maintain, and provide support for:

• Microsoft AD (GPO, DNS, Sites/Services, DHCP)
• Server hardware configurations (Cisco C-Series)
• Hyper-V and SCVMM
• Patch management
• Exchange 2019
• VMWare ESXi, vCenter, and vSAN configurations
• Microsoft SQL
• Email Security Appliances (Cisco)

What you'll need:

• 7+ years of System Administration experience in a Microsoft environment
• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Strong knowledge of backup and disaster recover processes (ideally with CommVault)
• Experience proactively assessing security updates and policies
• Ability to work ONSITE in a team oriented, fast paced environment
