Position Overview:
The Infrastructure Support Specialist will manage and support local IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, operating systems, video conferencing, network troubleshooting, and printing services to ensure smooth internal operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide incident and request resolution for infrastructure services, including moves, adds, and changes for end-users.
- Offer technical support for hardware, software, and OS upgrades on PCs and mobile devices.
- Track and report on service delivery and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Support collaboration technologies, including video conferencing, Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, and Smart displays (e.g., Surface Hubs).
- Manage and troubleshoot Local Area Network (LAN) and Wireless Network issues.
- Provide support for Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, print, and file services, including Follow Me Print.
- Maintain local assets and configuration items in ServiceNow.
- Assist with special projects and travel to job sites for short-term project support.
- Provide proactive support for executives and VIPs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or 7+ years of relevant IT experience.
- 1+ year of experience in end-user IT support, including hardware setup, software, video conferencing, and OS support.
- 1+ year of experience with incident/request management tools, such as ServiceNow.
- 1+ year of experience supporting executives and VIPs.
Additional Information:
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software incidents.
- Effective communication with customers and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with networking technologies and principles.
- Comfortable to support off-site meetings and conferences.
- Must be comfortable to lift 50 lbs.
- A+ certification preferred.
