We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data and Compliance Manager to lead our marketing data tagging, tracking, and compliance initiatives. This critical role requires technical expertise, strategic collaboration, and a thorough understanding of marketing platforms to ensure data is both optimized and compliant with regulations.
As the Data and Compliance Manager, you will own the strategy, implementation charters, and governance of tagging, tracking, and compliance solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams in Marketing, Product, Technology and Legal, you will ensure data enablement aligns with business strategies and adheres to all applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage marketing tagging and tracking strategies and implementation charters using tools like Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Freshpaint
- Optimize tagging architecture to ensure accurate, real-time data collection for marketing analytics, reporting and Patient acquisition optimizations
- Support integrations with platforms such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Meta Ads, Google Ads, and other media tools
- Oversee marketing data compliance processes using platforms like OneTrust to ensure adherence to global privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
- Regularly audit and monitor data collection practices to identify and address any compliance risks
- Implement and maintain data consent management systems to ensure compliant data usage
- Partner with Marketing, Product, Legal and Technology teams to understand business goals and deliver compliant data solutions
- Act as a subject matter expert to guide teams on tagging, tracking, and compliance best practices
- Support marketing campaign launches with tailored tracking strategies and performance insights
- Establish and maintain documentation for tagging, tracking, and compliance processes
- Conduct regular training sessions to educate internal teams on data compliance and tracking protocols
- Collaborate with Analytics and Media teams to enhance data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Provide actionable recommendations for improving data quality, usability, and compliance
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in marketing data enablement, tagging, or compliance roles
- Proficiency in Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and compliance platforms like OneTrust
- Strong understanding of media platforms, including Meta Ads, Google Ads, and other performance marketing tools
- Experience implementing and managing consent management systems
- Solid knowledge of global data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
- Experience with JavaScript and HTML for custom tag implementations
- Familiarity with data layer implementation and debugging tools (e.g., Tag Assistant, Charles Proxy
- Strong project management and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
