Our Client is seeking a KYC Associate for their AML Team
Your role will be handling new and existing account escalations, ongoing screening, and periodic reviews, as well as conducting Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for high-risk clients.
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform EDD on high-risk accounts, including those with PEPs, complex structures, and negative news.
- Review Know Your Customer (KYC) forms, Customer Identification Program (CIP) documents, and account activity.
- Analyze and assess risks associated with clients, ensuring compliance with AML regulations.
- Provide support in ongoing screening and transaction-related escalations.
- Assist with special projects such as periodic reviews and remediations.
- Deliver excellent service to financial advisors and key partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in banking or broker-dealer roles with a focus on BSA/AML Compliance.
- ACAMS or equivalent certification.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Knowledge of AML regulations, FINRA, SEC, and OFAC.
- Familiarity with Latin American corporate documents and AML risks in LatAm jurisdictions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and custodial platforms like NetX360
