KENT® Precision Foods Group is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our growing team! This Customer Service Specialist position is responsible for customer service order management processes and will support all business segments within
KENT Precision Foods Group. This position will manage orders and inventory levels for customers in Microsoft Dynamics AX and in relevant vendor portals and ensure orders are entered in the system accurately and in a timely manner as well as respond to customer inquiries.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, highly organized individual with excellent communication, follow up, relationship building skills and a commitment for servicing customers to KPFG standards.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Process and manage orders for Ecommerce and Industrial customers received via EDI and email which includes ensuring accuracy in quantities, product offering, pricing and ensure order minimums are met
- Retrieve and process orders from specific customer portals
- Interact with appropriate departments to determine product availability and assign ship dates based on known data.
- Correspond with customers regarding order modifications as well as other inquiries.
- Use FourKites to manage customer arranged shipments and correspondence with carriers.
- Backup all Customer Service order management processes for all business channels within KPFG and KPG (Consumer Brands).
- Resolve customer shipment concerns which in include overages, shortages and damages.
- Issue credits or rebills per company policy
- Manage sellable days by product and customer
- Manage the Inventory Journal Report process
- Ensure all required documentation is scanned in system for record-keeping purposes and access
- All other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS: - AA degree preferred or equivalent working experience.
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a sales administration or customer service setting.
TRAVEL: - Ongoing travel required for position is less than less than 5%.
