Description
Service Appointment Coordinators answer and handle inbound and outbound service calls, maintain customer satisfaction by using computerized schedules for dealership Service Department.
  • Operates a multi-line phone system and answers all incoming calls in a prompt, polite, professional manner, transferring them to the appropriate person or department quickly
  • Develops knowledge of basic dealership information in order to respond to callers who have general inquiries.
  • Clearly communicates caller and customer inquiries to the appropriate party
  • Minimizes the time callers are on hold and checks back with them frequently to ensure they wish to continue holding.
  • Monitor service shop workload and maintain computer database
  • Provide accurate and effective communication with service advisors and technicians
  • Schedule Service appointments accordingly when service advisor is not available
  • Maintain a good working relationship with all dealership personnel, members of his/her team, and other employees in the service and parts department
  • Assists with other related clerical duties to support dealership operations
  • Maintains professional appearance and neat work area.
