Description Service Appointment Coordinators answer and handle inbound and outbound service calls, maintain customer satisfaction by using computerized schedules for dealership Service Department.
- Operates a multi-line phone system and answers all incoming calls in a prompt, polite, professional manner, transferring them to the appropriate person or department quickly
- Develops knowledge of basic dealership information in order to respond to callers who have general inquiries.
- Clearly communicates caller and customer inquiries to the appropriate party
- Minimizes the time callers are on hold and checks back with them frequently to ensure they wish to continue holding.
- Monitor service shop workload and maintain computer database
- Provide accurate and effective communication with service advisors and technicians
- Schedule Service appointments accordingly when service advisor is not available
- Maintain a good working relationship with all dealership personnel, members of his/her team, and other employees in the service and parts department
- Assists with other related clerical duties to support dealership operations
- Maintains professional appearance and neat work area.
