The client is a commercial bank that started in Japan. They are the third largest bank in Japan and offer services such as investment banking, global markets, and sales and trading.
Job Description
- Oversee and manage daily settlement process for derivative cash flows, ensuring accuracy and timely completion across various platforms
- Verify and process settlement instructions while conducting thorough client callback confirmations to maintain compliance and security.
- Perform reconciliation and agreement of netting arrangements, promptly addressing discrepancies to minimize risk
- Investigate and resolve non receipts of funds, coordinating with relevant internal and external stakeholders to recover outstanding amounts.
- Reconcile and address discrepancies related to CLS funding, ensuring alignment between internal systems and external cash flow records
- Collaborate with Finance and Banking teams to investigate and resolve balance sheet and nostro breaks, maintaining accurate financial records

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 1-3 years of professional experience in settlements or related financial operations, with familiarity in derivatives and cash flow processes
- Demonstrates hands on expertise with financial systems such as Bloomberg CMS, 360T, or similar platforms used in settlements and reconciliation
- Possesses strong analytical skills to investigate and resolve issues like non receipt of funds, balance sheet breaks, and nostro discrepancies
- Combines excellent communication skill with a collaborative mindset to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders
