We are actively seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead our business expansion in this dynamic market alongside our Chief Growth Officer. This unique opportunity offers the successful candidate unrestricted access to all accounts within the greater Houston market. Your success will help shape the trajectory of a growing enterprise, showcase your strategic consultative sales expertise, and establish meaningful business relationships that drive growth for both you and CoStrategix while helping you achieve your financial goals.
For the right individual, this virtual/remote position offers a competitive base salary, an attractive commission structure, and a comprehensive benefits package. In addition, it includes access to a Coworking space in the Galleria area as needed, along with reimbursement of selling-related expenses.
As this is a remote selling position, CoStrategix will require company-paid, in-person visits to our home office in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive Business Development: Identify and engage in new business opportunities across the greater Houston marketplace and the surrounding region, leveraging your network and consultative selling experience.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring alignment with quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Client Engagement: Cultivate relationships with decision-makers, establish trust, and act as a strategic partner in delivering tailored solutions.
- Sales Process Navigation: In partnership with our technical delivery leaders, manage the sales lifecycle, from lead generation and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure. Document all sales activities using our HubSpot CRM.
- Collaborative Sales Solutions: Work closely with technical and solution engineering teams as a conduit with our clients to enable the design of compelling sales presentations that drive seamless delivery of promised outcomes.
- Market Intelligence: Gather competitive insights to help inform CoStrategix’s services, product offerings, and positioning strategies.
- Learning and Growth: Continuously enhance your understanding of digital transformation, data and AI technologies, and CoStrategix’s portfolio to communicate value to prospective clients effectively.
Qualifications
Experience: 7-10+ years of business development experience as an IT consultative solution sales executive with a demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Sales Expertise: Demonstrated ability to generate leads, build pipelines, and close deals in a B2B environment.
Technology/Domain Expertise: Experience with digital transformation, data, and AI solutions is required.
Network: An established network of contacts within the Houston business community, enabling accelerated market penetration.
Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, combined with a consultative sales approach.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred, or a combination of education and experience
Compensation*
This position includes:
- Base Salary
- Commission based on Gross Margin for Sold Business
