Job Description:

As a Health Insurance Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in helping individuals and families navigate their health insurance options with ease and confidence. Your expertise will guide clients in understanding their coverage, selecting the right plans, and resolving any questions or challenges along the way. Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding their healthcare inquiries, including coverage details, claims, and policy information.
  • Assist clients in understanding their benefits, eligibility criteria, and out-of-pocket expenses.
  • Provide personalized guidance and support to clients in selecting appropriate healthcare plans based on their needs and budget.
  • Collaborate with carriers and healthcare providers to address client concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner.


Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach to client interactions.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of healthcare terminology, policies, and procedures is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn new software systems quickly.
  • Previous experience in customer service or sales is a plus but not required.
