This is a full time onsite position located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
SUMMARY
The Production Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the production team to ensure goals and objectives are achieved. They will supervise and coordinate activities of the entire shift of production operators using established procedures and policies. They will work to ensure the core manufacturing processes and practices are followed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES - Supervises workers that operate production machinery, assemble items, perform quality control, or package goods for shipment.
- Ensure safe and environmentally sound practices within all areas by championing safety systems and culture through best practices and employee involvement.
- Coordinates the flow of work through the department and ensures that the department has sufficient levels of inventory to meet demand and is staffed appropriately.
- Partner with other departments including engineering, quality, etc. to ensure quality and performance of finished product and maintain Sterisil’s product reputation as best-in-industry.
- Manage headcount for production workers within company policies to meet production plans, ramp-up and cost target.
- Build a world-class production team by maintaining a plan for hiring, training, and operator certification.
- Monitors output of assigned area(s) against established schedules or quality goals.
- Provides quality assurance process and responsibility for functional area to ensure work performed meets company standards for quality.
- May perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS - High School Diploma (or GED) with a minimum of 5 years related operations or manufacturing experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Knowledge of 5S, TPM, and Lean Manufacturing is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of equipment and manufacturing safety procedures is required (e.g., lock-out/ tag-out, electrical/high-voltage, chemical, reading SDS, incident response procedures).
- A strong working knowledge of manufacturing or ERP systems and data entry and/or collection from such systems is required.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

- Indoor/Office situation; Individual’s daily routine will consist mostly of office work requiring light physical activity. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on the computer.
