Job Description
A healthcare organization in Orlando is seeking a Senior Information Technology Project Manager. This role involves leading the implementation of Epic Cheers for multiple entities. Experience leading prior Cheers implementations is required.
About the Opportunity:

Hybrid or Remote: Remote

Responsibilities: The Senior Information Technology Project Manager will be responsible for:
  • Managing all aspects of multiple simultaneous IT projects, including initiation, planning, implementation, and closure.
  • Leading project teams and managing resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Developing project plans, including work breakdown structures, risk management, and communication plans.
  • Coaching and mentoring project team members and stakeholders on project management methodologies.
  • Procuring and managing internal and external project resources and vendor contracts. ยท Ensuring compliance with project methodology and maintaining project documentation.
  • Delivering weekly project status updates and managing project budgets.
  • Conducting post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions.
Qualifications:
  • Five (5) years of IT project management experience.
  • Experience with EPIC
  • Must have led the implementation of all modules within Cheers (Call Center and CRM)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Associate's degree with additional experience or High School diploma with additional experience)
  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Experience with formal project management methodologies.
  • Experience delivering software solutions to a large user base
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of management.
Desired Skills:
  • Additional years of experience in IT project management.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications in related fields.
  • Experience with vendor contract negotiation and development.
  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure.
