Responsibilities:
- Participates in an Agile development environment by attending daily standups and sprint planning activities.
- Develops software solutions based on end user requirements.
- Develops, executes, and documents unit test plans.
- Assists in the deployment of new modules, upgrades and fixes to the production environment.
- Validates deployment.
- Participates in defect and incident root cause analyses.
- Maintains security in accordance with security policies.
- Provides end-to-end support for solution integration, including designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting solutions.
- Collaborates with customers on integration service onboarding.
- Supports integration service release management activities.
- Triages incoming feature application enhancements and functionality regressions that may arise.
- Creates schedules, scripts and development of new mappings and workflows.
- Builds workflows covering source code development through go-live.
- Develops, executes and documents unit test plans and supports customer testing.
- Tests submitted software changes prior to staging.
- Performs deployment to staging and production environments.
- Collaborates with Application Developers, QA Engineers, Product Owners, and others to promote integrations through the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Provides production support including on-call rotation.
- Collaborates across teams and with customers to improve integration and release processes.
- Recommends integration flow solutions and provides direction to more junior team members.
- Champions integration best practices and promotes standardization and reuse principles.
- Oversees technical design documentation reviews and peer reviews of integration code.
- Trains solution teams on latest trends and technologies.
- Builds solutions that mitigate risk and increase efficiencies.
- Contributes to the product system architecture, design, development and deployment.
- Collaborates with integration architects to identify and prioritize integration service enhancements.
- Leads the innovation, design and selection of new technologies in support of business and integration engineering initiatives and priorities.
- Works on highest priority business critical projects/tasks.
- Regarded as a technical expert in multiple integration disciplines within ITS.
Required Skills:
- Acts as technical subject matter expert for application integration activities.
- Leads research and evaluation activities for technology solutions.
- Defines standards to guide solution decisions in relation to multiple integration technologies.
- Establishes the environment and instance strategy for integration platform environments.
- Leads efforts to establish, define, maintain and communicate integration architecture guidelines, principles, standards and best practices across multiple product teams as they migrate to the cloud.
- Analyzes business context (trends and business strategy) to derive future state integration architecture.
- Reviews and approves domain level recommendations to architectural standards.
- Consults on enterprise-facing projects.
- Develop and maintain integration services using AWS Transfer services using SFTP, FTPS, FTP, and AS2 protocols.
- Setup AWS Lambda runtimes, Python programming.
- Configure and manage AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, security groups, IAM roles & policies, load balancers, target groups and route53
Qualifications:
- Technical Education/Degree: Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Systems Analysis or a related field.
- Typically requires 3+ years of technical architecture experience with all aspects of an integration product from design through development, testing, implementation, and production with extensive technical breadth through experience in the IT industry with a focus on Enterprise file platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of AWS Transfer family and corresponding architecture at the level of a subject matter expert.
- Experience working with but not limited to EC2, security groups, IAM roles & policies, load balancers, target groups and route53.
- Strong knowledge of high-availability, load-balancing and failover configurations across application, infrastructure, and platform components.
- Strong working knowledge of IBM Managed File Transfer product suite and corresponding architecture at the level of a subject matter expert.
- Experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway with implementations leveraging both On-Prem servers and AWS EC2's is preferred.
- Experience with IBM Secure Proxy, Axway Secure Transport, Connect Direct, Sterling Control Center is preferred.
- Experience with Infrastructure as code using tools such as terraform, Ansible, Gitlab pipelines, Python, Packer and shell scripting is preferred.
- Ability to coordinate and work with diverse groups of subject matter experts
