The client is looking for a Product Manager with a strong background in healthcare IT, clinical workflows, and data platform development . The role focuses on creating and managing a strategic roadmap for the data platform underlying clinical surveillance products. Key aspects of the position include technical expertise, collaboration with internal teams, market research, and maintaining a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a 12-month roadmap for the data platform, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with Portfolio Product Managers to understand application feature requirements and their impact on data ingestion/processing.
- Lead efforts to address data acquisition challenges, bugs, and customer feature requests.
- Maintain awareness of industry advancements in data acquisition and processing techniques (e.g., FHIR, HL7, EDI).
- Work with Product Development and advanced technology teams to detail product requirements, oversee development processes, and ensure timely delivery.
- Act as a key liaison between internal teams (e.g., Customer Support, Development) and external stakeholders.
- Present product roadmaps, business cases, and investment opportunities to executive audiences.
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of product delivery experience in healthcare IT, acute care, or systems integrated with clinical workflows.
- 5+ years working with healthcare interoperability standards like FHIR, HL7, EDI .
- 5+ years of experience managing the product lifecycle, including roadmap development, business case creation, and backlog prioritization.
- Direct experience in Agile Scrum environments, with an ability to decompose complex requirements into small, manageable tasks.
- Strong understanding of medication data within the U.S. healthcare provider context.
