We are looking for a Production Manager in the Richmond, VA area.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and efficacy standards.
• Managing and reporting on staffing and material requirements.
• Monitoring performance data and initiating improvement projects.
• Creating metrics to evaluate and steer team improvement.
• Utilizing Lean Manufacturing tools to solve problems and improve performance.
• Participating in audits and maintaining quality documentation.
• Working closely with manufacturing engineering to optimize productivity.
• Participating in operation and project review meetings.
• Developing training requirements and ensuring cross-training.
• Maintaining data for on-time delivery, yield, and shop floor performance metrics.
• Providing training, mentoring, and support to supervisors and team members.
• Reviewing daily production schedules.
• Providing reports and updates on performance measurements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 8+ years of related experience in manufacturing
• Lean Six Sigma black belt certification preferred
• Knowledge of quality systems and problem-solving tools
• Forklift certified or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of employment
• Excellent organizational and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience with OSHA/safety compliance in a manufacturing environment
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
