Job Description

***Only qualified Technical Project Manager candidates located near the Richmond, VA area will be considered due to the role requiring an onsite presence ***

About the Role: Client has an immediate need of a Technical PM to oversee the client-Net project/transition from a legacy service to the VDN-managed platform with Verizon. But they also need to understand networking and the “tech” speak.

Preferred Certification:

• ITIL Foundations certification.

Required Experience:

• Ability to perform Data Networking technology and operational assessments to oversee the client transition project (5 Years)

• Project Management experience and the ability to track milestones/deliverables and report out to client leadership (5 Years)

• Experience in managing general network technology projects (5 Years)

• Extensive knowledge and experience with Data and Network Monitoring technologies, standards, and practices. (5 Years)

• Experience deploying and managing multiple location network solutions (5 Years)

• Responsible for responding to and resolving agency and customer escalations (2 Years)

• Experience producing presentations when reporting out on status of technology projects (2 Years)

Preferred Experiences:

• Experience in State/Agency is a plus.

• Experience deploying and managing multiple location network solutions.
