Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Sales Administrator to support our sales team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our sales processes, assisting with order management, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment. This position has a succession plan to step up to an account manager in a short period of time for someone that shows ambition to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Maintain and update customer records in the company database.
- Prepare quotes, invoices, and other sales-related documentation.
- Act as a point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and providing updates on orders.
- Collaborate with the sales team to track and manage sales leads.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to fulfill orders.
- Support the preparation of sales reports and forecasts.
- Assist with resolving customer issues and escalations in a professional manner.
- Provide general administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings and preparing presentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- 1-2+ years of experience in sales administration, customer service, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with aerospace components and distribution (a plus).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
