Senior Recruiter
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Recruiter, preferably with experience in federal procurement and acquisition recruiting, specifically with the 1102 series related roles. You will be instrumental in sourcing, screening, and hiring top-tier candidates who will help our clients execute on their most critical missions. As part of the ASI Government team, you’ll work closely with hiring managers, executives, and business partners to ensure a smooth and effective recruiting process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the end-to-end recruiting process for federal procurement roles, specifically 1102 positions (Contract Specialist, Procurement Analyst, etc.), from job requisition to offer acceptance.
- Sourcing and Screening: Utilize various sourcing methods (LinkedIn, job boards, networks, referrals) to identify and engage active and passive candidates with a focus on candidates with active or current security clearances .
- Clearance Expertise: Navigate the intricacies of recruiting candidates with security clearances for federal procurement positions. Ensure compliance with security requirements and vetting procedures.
- Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with hiring managers and clients, offering strategic advice on market trends, compensation, and recruitment strategies. Be a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process.
- Candidate Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates and actively track and report on recruitment progress to leadership. Ensure a steady flow of top-tier talent.
- Offer Management and Negotiation: Oversee the offer process, including negotiations, and guide candidates through the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition from candidate to new hire.
- Stay Current with Federal Regulations: Keep up-to-date with changes to federal acquisition regulations, including FAR and DFARS, to ensure that you are sourcing candidates with the right experience for federal contracting roles.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience : Minimum of 5 years in full-cycle recruitment, with a focus on federal procurement (1102) roles and experience working within the federal contracting environment.
- Clearance : Experience recruiting candidates with active or current security clearances (Secret, Top Secret, or other clearances).
- Knowledge of Procurement & Acquisition : Strong understanding of federal acquisition regulations (FAR, DFARS) and the unique needs of federal procurement roles.
- Hardworking & Urgent : Must have a strong sense of urgency and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once. Speed without sacrificing quality is critical.
- Can-Do Attitude : A proactive, solution-oriented mindset is a must. We seek individuals who take ownership, navigate obstacles, and find creative solutions.
- Technology-Savvy : Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as iCIMS, Taleo, or similar to track candidates and manage workflows. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to influence stakeholders and negotiate with candidates at all levels.
- Location : This position is based in Herndon, VA and offers hybrid flexibility, with some in-office presence required to foster strong team collaboration.
