Our client is a top, $20 billion+ Venture Capital and Equity L/S Hedge Fund Manager, with offices in San Francisco and New York City. Based at the firm's San Francisco office, this person will be a part of a small, SF-based sales team who focus on raising and retaining capital from various types of private wealth and institutional investors in the Western U.S. This person will help generate leads through proactive sales campaigns as well as performing follow-up for the senior members of the team.
The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include and not be limited to:
· Manage inbound inquiries from existing investor base efficiently and effectively
· Assist senior sales professionals with scheduling appointments with investors and prospects, as well as follow-up on their prior meetings
· Maintain databases with pertinent investor information to support sales efforts
· Actively participate in the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns
· Identify investor opportunities and schedule individual meetings accordingly
Candidate Qualifications
- 1-3 years prior experience in an internal sales role, selling traditional and/or alternative investment funds to retail/wealth platforms (wires, broker-dealers, RIAs etc.), or private client relationship management experience
- Excellent writing & communication skills
- Experience with Salesforce a plus
