• As a Sr should have the following at advanced levels as compared to non SR Have good logic and troubleshooting skills Be able to consult at the infrastructure and Cloud service technical level with our direct internal customers Well versed outside of Cloud Native services and be well experienced in DNS TCPIP Stateful firewalls Windows Servers SLES servers Active Directory and IAM general as well as AWS explicit.
• They need to be more of a research validate and complete kind of mindset as compared to an non Sr which is more ask questions how do I connect to a server and then complete What will they be doing A vast majority of time will be routing reporting on or completing tickets requests which may include consulting and educating cloud internal customers.
• This will include creating follow-up Change Controls and executing actual changes in our Cloud and on-prem where related to cloud changes Some time will be learning and training about the PSE ecosystem infrastructure as well as process polices and standards Some time will be documenting new knowledge articles and maintaining them along with other Policy and Standard documents Effectively, they will be doing day-to-day keep the lights on tasks
