What you will be doing:

• Analyzes the performance of hardware and software interfaces and identifies alternatives for optimizing the usage of embedded system resources.
• Applies generally accepted programming standards and controls techniques to assure efficient program logic and data manipulation.
• Defines, documents and communicates software architecture, directs work for other sw engineers.
• Participates in designing, coding, testing, debugging, configuring, and documenting embedded systems and software.
• Provides assistance and routine consultation to users in the development of embedded systems and software. Installs software and user utilities for modifications and updates of embedded sw systems.
  

What you'll need to be successful:
Essential:

• Incumbent must possess a B.S.E.E. or similar technical background and a minimum of three years experience in Embedded Engineering.
• C++ experience
• Hand coding experience
  

Preferred:

• Familiarity with the Vector Tool chain (CANoe, CANapy, CANalyzer, etc)
• Experience with Embedded Software Debuggers / Emulators / Logic Analyzers
