Job Title: Engineering Technician

Location: Boise, ID 83707 (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months (Contract)

Pay Rate: $33/hr

Job Description:

Supports memory module and component validation

Supports Power Distribution Network and inductor validation

Expert solder skills for attaching test leads and 0201 size discrete components, installation/removal of SOIC and BGA packages

Requires detailed and accurate data collection

Supports engineering activities such as test, check-out, modification, assembly of prototype electrical systems, experimental design circuitry, or specialized test equipment.

Uses manufacturing, test, development, or diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test apparatus.

Applications may include analog, digital and logic systems.

Performs operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment.

Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions.

Assists in the design, construction, test, and check-out of test equipment.

Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting functions.

2-5 years of experience.
