Role: Validation Engineer

Job Description:

In this role, you will:

• Be part of a team working on validation of complex SoCs and platforms.
• Build, debug and support validation platforms.
• Execute functional and performance validation test plans, and maintaining the system health.
• Manage area lab operations and platform support.
• Triage and debug validation execution.

Qualifications: (Technical Skills)

• Ability to utilize and develop tools/scripts to support SoC validation debug activities.
• Understanding of board level schematics.
• Hands on experience debugging board or system issues. Lab tech related hardware lab experience 3+ years
• Management of inventories: test samples, equipment, lab materials
• Procurement, evaluation, maintenance, and set-up of all lab equipment/resources
• Modification of validation boards, soldering components as necessary
• Ability to utilize and develop tools/scripts to support SoC validation debug activities.
• Understanding of board level schematics.
• Hands on experience debugging board or system issues.
• Working with IT on network issues and other PC related items
• Handling shipping and receiving of all lab materials
• Ensuring proper storage and disposal of sensitive and non-sensitive lab materials
• Promoting a clean and organized hardware lab
• Maintaining appropriate and necessary lab documentation
