This is a 1 yr contract with our client on Hybrid.
We are seeking a highly creative, organized, and adaptable Learning Design Specialist to join our dynamic Learning & Development team. The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical, creative, and organizational skills, with a background in instructional design and experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS). This role requires a flexible and innovative individual who can design engaging learning assets that meet the needs of our diverse audience. This individual must possess an open attitude and curiosity to technology and using new platforms, having a solution driven mindset and finding ways to be creative when using them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop creative and engaging learning content that aligns with organizational goals and objectives such as videos, one-pagers, presentations, courses, and toolkits on a variety of platforms e.g. Articulate Rise, Canva, Shootsta, etc.
- Create supporting documents and marketing content to promote learning programs and increase engagement among employees, e.g. program overviews, email banners, FAQ guides, one-pagers, visuals for events, podcasts, videos, etc.
- Create templates using visual design principles to ensure content is appealing and aligns with brand guidelines.
- Adapt learning models and materials in a simplified and comprehensible way for external faculty.
- Work on a variety of PowerPoint documents such as strategy documents and proposals for the wider learning team.
- Source licensed images and appropriate IP for learning programs.
- Create visual reports for post program data.
- Work with a variety of LMS and learning platforms to upload, test, and maintain SCORM files, courses and offerings; problem solve, test, and resolve issues with LMS to suit stakeholders needs.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in instructional design, marketing, and LMS technology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in instructional and graphic design, and multimedia tools with the ability to design visually appealing learning materials that are engaging and convey information effectively.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other educational technologies.
- Proficiency in writing and editing educational and marketing content.
- Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design models.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating templates and presentations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to organize tasks, manage timelines, and ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
