Ashley’s Finance Department is seeking a business-minded and self-motivated finance leader to head the finance team for our retail group. The SVP of Retail Finance will serve as a strategic business partner reporting to the CFO, responsible for providing financial leadership and oversight for the company's retail operations, including corporate-owned stores, Licensees, and e-commerce channels. This position will drive financial strategy and operational excellence across the retail division of our $7B furniture manufacturing and retail enterprise. This role is based in Tampa, FL and is an onsite, in office role. This is not a remote or hybrid working position. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Planning

• Lead the development and execution of financial strategies supporting retail growth initiatives
• Partner with retail operations leadership to drive profitable growth and operational efficiency
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to C-suite executives on retail performance optimization
• Guide long-term financial planning and forecasting for retail division

Financial Management & Analysis

• Oversee financial performance of retail operations, including P&L management
• Direct retail financial planning, budgeting, weekly flash and forecasting processes
• Lead monthly/quarterly financial reviews and variance analysis
• Develop and monitor KPIs for retail performance
• Manage capital allocation and investment decisions for retail expansion
• Support banking relationships for credit facility, payment processing and depository.
• Provide focus on data security and strong financial and internal controls.
• Must develop offshore teams for financial analysis

Retail Operations Finance

• Optimize store-level profitability and performance metrics
• Lead financial analysis for new store opportunities and market expansion
• Oversee licensee financial relationships and reporting globally
• Direct retail pricing strategies and margin management
• Manage inventory accuracy and working capital optimization

Team Leadership

• Lead and develop a team of retail finance professionals on shore and offshore
• Build strong partnerships with retail operations leadership
• Provide mentorship and guidance to finance team members
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on results and accountability

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred
• CPA or advanced financial certifications desired
• 15+ years of progressive finance experience
• Minimum 10 years in retail finance leadership roles
• Multi-site retail operations experience required
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred
