Contract Human Resources Manager – Coushatta, LA
Our client is seeking an interim HR Manager to assist during a maternity leave. Use your deep Human Resources experience to support the plant leadership in all HR areas including, workforce planning, talent acquisition, payroll coordination, employee relations, and compliance. What You’ll Do:
We are seeking an experienced contract HR Manager to oversee HR operations for a dynamic manufacturing facility where the HR function is highly streamlined and automated.
Responsibilities:
Performance Management: Provide coaching, counseling, and guidance to management on career development and disciplinary actions.
Employee Relations: Conduct thorough investigations, resolve complex issues, and ensure legal compliance.
HR Reporting: Provide timely weekly reporting to the GM around headcount, attrition, new hires, etc.
Talent Acquisition & Development: Manage recruitment, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding.
Payroll & Benefits: Address timekeeping and payroll issues, and assist with benefits inquiries.
Provide support to HR operations at a secondary facility as needed.
What You Bring:
Proven HR Manager with experience in employee relations, labor relations and compliance
Strong interpersonal skills with an action-oriented, time sensitive mindset.
Ability to coach plant managers on documentation and compliance processes.
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
Ability to commit to the assignment term with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
